Walk-in consultation: 2 March

Are you an artist with plans for new work, a project, a work period abroad, an exhibition or collaboration? An intermediary with plans for research? A commissioner with plans for collaboration with an artist? Or do you work at a museum or institute with plans for an exhibition, project or collaboration?

In order to help you on your way in the variety of possibilities, the Mondriaan Fund organises walk-in consultations the first Monday of the month between 2 and 4 PM. Our staff will advise you about which grant suits your plans best, explain about the opportunities at the fund, or refer you to other possibilities.

At this edition, staff from voordekunst and Fonds Kwadraat will be present as well. They can answer your questions about crowdfunding as an additional form of support for your project, and the possibility of taking out an interest-free loan for the development, creation and presentation of new artwork.

During the monthly walk-in consultation you may stop by without an appointment to obtain general information, there is no need to register beforehand. Do you have a concrete plan and do you want to know whether you can apply for a grant at the Mondriaan Fund? In that case an appointment is preferable, so that we can advise you better. Send an email with a short description of the plan and your CV to communicatie@mondriaanfonds.nl, so we can plan an appointment with one of the staff. Appointments during consultation hours last up to approx. 20 minutes.

N.B. Applicants with concrete plans can also make appointments with a project officer outside of the walk-in hours. On the website, on the pages of the specific grant, the contacts and their email addresses can be found under the heading of ‘contact’.

Time: between 2 and 4 PM
Location: Brouwersgracht 276 in Amsterdam
Registration is not necessary.

If your question does not fit within one of the grants of the Mondriaan Fund; the contact person on behalf of the six national culture funds (Bonnie Dumanaw) will be present during the consultation to advise you.
