In June 2016, eleven artists have received a Stipendium for Established Artists. In Dutch: Werkbijdrage Bewezen Talent. These are: Theo Baart, Sara Bjarland, Tim Breukers, Hedwig Houben, Paul Klemann, Job Koelewijn, Sanja Medic, Johan Nieuwenhuize, Maria Roosen, Maurice Thomassen and Judith Quax.

The grant is meant for Dutch visual artists (or artists based in the Netherlands) with an artistic practice of at least six years. It can be used for all costs related to the production of new work, for example costs for material or as a compensation for time investment and services of third parties. It can also be used for the execution of commissioned work or for participation in exhibitions and manifestations in the Netherlands and abroad. The stipendium is 36.000 euros for a period of 24 months minimal, and can be awarded to an artist once every four years. Applications can be send in throughout the entire year (there are no specific deadlines).

Goal of the Stipendium for Established Artists is to stimulate the oeuvre, entreprise and visibility of visual artists, in order for work to come into existence that can contribute in a meaningful way to the contemporary visual arts in the Netherlands.
