ISCP – Jennifer Tee: Ether Plane~Material Plane

The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York presents the first solo-exhibition of Jennifer Tee in the United States: Ether Plane~Material Plane. The exhibition resonates with the current political upheaving and the subsequent dynamics, whereas Tee uses materials loaded with cultural meaning and symbolism.

The exhibition incorporates sculpture, performance, installation and choreography into an interdependent environment. Central are the two newly commissioned displays, designed to unite the photography of the artists together with her ceramic sculptures in the shape of spheres and swirls. The hand-knitted floor pieces resonate with the forms of the sculptures and intersect the space, while acting as sites for performative events.

ISCP received a Grant International Presentations for the exhibition. The exhibition will be accompanied by a free publication.
