Mori Art Museum – Melvin Moti
Until the 31th of August the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo exhibits a soloshow by the Rotterdam based artist Melvin Moti. With this exhitibion, MAM Project 021: Melvin Moti, his work is shown in Japan for the first time. The Mori shows a new body of works, called Cluster Illusion, which is inspired on star maps and the famous Japanese Edo-komon patterns on kimono’s: patterns made out of little dots arranged in dense compositions.
The Mondriaan Fund provided financial support for this exhibition through a grant for international presentations.
