Dale Bailey
Director of Collections Research and Learning at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa

Dale leads the team of curators, collection managers, conservators educators and public programmers. He is also responsible for Te Papa Press.  Dale joined Te Papa in 2015 and has a career in education and teaching.  He previously worked as Deputy Chief Review Officer for the Education Review Office. He also worked at Careers New Zealand and was a secondary school teacher.  Dale has also served in governance roles in Museums, being a former Deputy Chairperson of the Auckland War Memorial Museum and Chairperson of the Te Manawa Museums Trust in Palmerston North.

The visit is planned in collaboration with Embassy of the Netherlands in New Zealand.
