Schrijf je nu in voor de Pavilion Days

Wil je de Biënnale van Venetië nog gaan bezoeken? Dan heb je nu de kans om deel te nemen aan de Pavilion Days 2024 op donderdag 26 september en vrijdag 27 september. Dit is een initiatief van verschillende landenpaviljoens op de Biënnale. Weet dat het aantal deelnemers beperkt is en je in bezit dient te zijn van een geldig toegangsbewijs voor de Biënnale. De deelname aan de tours is gratis.

Programma

Gedurende de Pavilion Days kun je deelnemen aan tours langs de verschillende landenpresentaties en aanvullende events. Tijdens de tour word je ontvangen door de kunstenaar of de organisator van het paviljoen en krijg je een inhoudelijke toelichting op de presentatie. In het Nederlandse paviljoen word je welkom geheten door Eelco van der Lingen, directeur van het Mondriaan Fonds.

Donderdag 26 september

• 10:00 – 14:00 Rondleidingen (Arsenale + stad) – De volgende paviljoens worden tijdens deze tour bezocht: Grenada, Kroatië, Kosovo, Turkije, Malta en Ierland.
• 10:40 – 13:45 Rondleidingen (Giardini + stad) – De volgende paviljoens worden tijdens deze tour bezocht: Slovenië, Nederland, Polen, Japan, Frankrijk en Zwitserland.

Vrijdag 27 september

• 10:00 – 14:00 Rondleidingen (Arsenale + stad) – De volgende paviljoens worden tijdens deze tour bezocht: Grenada, Kroatië, Kosovo, Turkije, Malta en Ierland.
• 10:40 – 13:45 Rondleidingen (Giardini + stad) – De volgende paviljoens worden tijdens deze tour bezocht: Slovenië, Nederland, België, Polen, Frankrijk en Zwitserland.
• 15:30 Gesprek met kunstenaar Guerreiro do Divino Amor en curator Andrea Bellini in het Zwitserse paviljoen.
• 18:00 – 20:00 Boeksignering van de catalogus van het Franse paviljoen in aanwezigheid van kunstenaar Julien Creuzet in de boekwinkel Libreria Rupture Arts & Books Venezia, Giudecca.

Pavilion Days – Venice Biennale

September 26 & 27

The Venice Biennale opened in April 2024, and the Dutch pavilion has already welcomed more than 200.000 visitors. The International Celebration of Blasphemy and the Sacred presented by CATPC (Cercle d’Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise) in collaboration with artist Renzo Martens and curator Hicham Khalidi, convinces visitors and the story of CATPC moves everyone.

For those who are still planning to visit the Venice Biennale, please join the Pavilion Days 2024 on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27. The Pavilion Days are an initiative by various national pavilions taking part in the Biennale. Please note that the number of participants is limited and you must be in possession of a valid entrance ticket for the Biennale. Participation in the tours is free of charge.

Programme

During the Pavilion Days you can participate in tours to various national pavilions at the Giardini, Arsenale and in the city as well as additional events. During the tour you will be welcomed by the artist or the organizer of the pavilion and you will receive a substantive explanation of the presentation. At the Dutch pavilion you will be welcomed by Eelco van der Lingen, director of the Mondriaan Fund.

Thursday 26th September

• 10:00 – 14:00 Guided Tours (Arsenale + city) – The following pavilions will be visited during this tour: Grenada, Croatia, Kosovo, Turkey, Malta and Ireland.
• 10:40 – 13:45 Guided Tours (Giardini + city) – The following pavilions will be visited during this tour: Slovenia, The Netherlands, Poland, Japan, France and Switzerland.

Friday 27th September

• 10:00 – 14:00 Guided Tours (Arsenale + city) – The following pavilions will be visited during this tour: Grenada, Croatia, Kosovo, Turkey, Malta and Ireland.
• 10:40 – 13:45 Guided Tours (Giardini + city) – The following pavilions will be visited during this tour: Slovenia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Polan, France and Switzerland.
• 15:30 Talk with artist Guerreiro do Divino Amor and curator Andrea Bellini at the Swiss Pavilion.
• 18:00 – 20:00 Book signing of the French Pavilion catalogue in the presence of the artist Julien Creuzet at the bookstore Libreria Rupture Arts & Books Venezia, Giudecca.
