Heritage Media Digital

Do you have a plan for a digital heritage presentation that contributes to historical awareness? The contribution is intended for alternative forms of storytelling and digital presentations about historical events in collaboration with creative makers.

An example is the project De Tijd Detective by Museum Gouda, which makes cultural heritage data accessible in an interactive way. Visitors and residents can explore the history of the city through a game, using Tourio as a platform and treasure hunts.

Deadline: 18 september 2025, before 16:00 (Dutch time zone) / 10:00 (Caribbean time zone).

Heritage Innovation

Are you working to develop new visions or narratives about our cultural heritage, for example through an exceptional presentation, a new presentation arrangement, layout or structure, or a thematic collaboration that is relevant to society and would reach a diverse audience? Contributions can also be made to feasibility studies into innovative programming and collaborations.

The Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar received a contribution to realize Allemaal Alkmaar, a permanent collection presentation that takes the visitor through the city’s collection based on stories from the past and present.

Deadline: 9 October 2025, before 16:00 (Dutch time zone) / 10:00 (Caribbean time zone).

Collection Mobility

Are you interested in selecting, discarding or relocating parts of a collection in order to improve the quality of the collection, make it more visible to the public, and improve the focus of the collection profile? It may concern the relocation of parts of a collection that are no longer in line with the mission and that are better suited to another institution, or the reassessment of an institution’s own collection.

Open-air museum Het Hoogeland received a grant for a research and valuation project of its collection, in preparation for a new presentation arrangement. The aim is to make new presentations more historically accurate and to improve public access to the collection.

Applications can be submitted at any time of the year.
