Grants 2025-2028

The grants 2025-2028 were explained by project officers Douke IJsselstein, Bonnie Dumanaw en Lotte Hemelrijk. They mentioned, among other things, that there are no major changes to the grants during the new policy plan period.

An important change however is that the Art Connection grant will close permanently on 30 December 2024, 16.00 (Dutch time zone) / 11.00 (Caribbean time zone). It will be replaced in the spring of 2025 by a new grant Art Heritage Festivals, which focuses on the presentation of art and/or heritage at a festival or comparable event. Read the full message here.

New is the open call Heritage Media Digital, which will be introduced later in the year, for the development of presentations and activities with digital media aimed at stimulating the engagement of the public with historical stories. This open call is for heritage institutions managing collections in collaboration with creative makers.

The grants for the policy plan period 2025–2028 will go online around midday on Monday 6 January, and applications will be accepted via new application forms from this time onwards.

Deadline applications 2024

The deadline for applications in 2024 is Monday 30 December 2024, 16.00 (Dutch time zone) / 11.00 (Caribbean time zone). Applications that are in the system but have not been submitted before the deadline will be deleted. No information is stored in the system. Applicants are therefore advised to retrieve any required information from the application form and save it themselves. Read the full message about the deadline for applications here.

Fund closed

The Mondriaan Fund is closed from Monday 23 to Friday 27 December 2024. The help desk will not be open for enquiries during this period. We will be able to answer your questions when we reopen on Monday 30 December (albeit with limited availability). Please note: we will be closed on January 1.
