Dear applicant,
You are receiving this e-mail because you have applied for one of the heritage grants from the Mondriaan Fund in the past. We would like to inform you about a number of grants that may be of interest to you and for which you could possibly apply for:
New: Voucher Co-creation
Do you work in a museum or another heritage institution which functions for the public and for presentations? Do you want to stimulate public involvement in historical stories that belong to the Kingdom of the Netherlands through co-creation? Perhaps the Voucher Co-creation offers a solution.
The voucher can only be used to cover the costs of the co-creation process, such as organising meetings, compensating the parties and communities involved and hiring a project leader, expert or confidential counsellor.
Applications may be submitted at any time of the year, provided sufficient budget remains.

International Collaborative Projects with Heritage Institutes
The grant for International Collaborative Projects with Heritage Institutes is intended for cultural heritage institutions from the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom that collaborate with foreign cultural heritage institutions in research projects in fields covered by both of their collections.
It is also possible to apply for the development phase of the project. Like Museum Valkhof, which together with Museum Bakkie in Suriname received a contribution for both the development phase and further research for a diorama.
Deadlines are 16 May and 3 October 2024.

Heritage Innovation
Are you working to develop new visions or narratives about our cultural heritage, for example through an exceptional presentation, a new presentation arrangement, layout or structure, or a thematic collaboration that is relevant to society and would reach a diverse audience? If so, you may be eligible for a Heritage Innovation grant.
Het Scheepvaartmuseum, for instance, received a contribution for their project ‘ATLAS – The Future of Exhibitions’, aimed at increasing sustainability within the museum sector. Through an online platform and by organising meetings at various locations (such as at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center), they provide concrete tools for museums and other heritage institutions to get started with sustainability.
Deadline is 5 September 2024.
