For each organisation, one account holder may be registered who manages the account and signs applications on behalf of the organisation. The account holder must be authorised to sign or officially represent the organisation. For most organisations, we are able to verify this authority using a recent extract from the Chamber of Commerce. However, that is not always the case. Therefore, please indicate below the type of organisation you are requesting an account for. More information on signing authority can be found here .

Given that authorised persons are usually not listed in Chamber of Commerce extracts for municipalities, we ask you to upload 2 documents: a recent extract from the Chamber of Commerce (no more than 1 year old) and a document showing the authority of the account holder, such as a mandate arrangement or register, or a scan/photo of an appointment resolution demonstrating such authority.

Church body*

Church bodies are not always registered independently with the Chamber of Commerce; compulsory registration often only applies to the national umbrella organisation. Authorised directors are generally not listed in Chamber of Commerce extracts either.

If your church body is not independently registered with the Chamber of Commerce and/or its authorised directors are not listed in the extract, ask your national umbrella organisation for a 'certificate of legal personality'. In it, the umbrella organisation certifies that your church body is a legal entity under the umbrella and states who is authorised to sign on behalf of your church body.

In that case, we ask you to upload 2 documents: an extract from the Chamber of Commerce (no more than 1 year old) for the national umbrella organisation and a scan or photo of the certificate of legal personality signed by it.

If the account holder is not listed in the extract or only has joint or limited authority, an authorisation signed by all jointly authorised directors is also required. The authorisation form is available here .

If your organisation's articles of association state that 2 directors acting jointly are authorised to represent it, only those 2 directors need to sign the authorisation. In that case, attach a copy of your organisation's articles of association as well.
