Programme
This edition focuses on the theme of restitution. Dr. Ndubuisi C. Ezeluomba, Curator of African Arts at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (USA), and CATPC artists Ced’art Tamasala, Matthieu Kasiama, and Mbuku Kimpala will speak about the loan of the Balot sculpture, which temporarily returned to Lusanga, Congo, in 2024.
After this talk, several breakout sessions will take a deeper dive into various topics that heritage professionals encounter in the context of restitution cases.
In addition, there are two guided tours you can attend: one of the Unfinished Pasts exhibition, and another of the memorial altar, both currently on display at the Wereldmuseum Amsterdam.
