Are you organising a festival, biennale, triennale or similar event focused on visual art and/or heritage? Or would you like to present visual art and/or heritage in a different context, such as a pop music or theatre festival? Applications are now open for the new Art Heritage Festival grant.
With the Art Heritage Festival grant, the Mondriaan Fund supports the presentation of visual art and/or heritage at festivals and similar events held in physical spaces that take place no more than once a year. The grant is intended for activities that help reach a more diverse or broader audience for visual art and/or heritage, or for activities that meaningfully connect to the public in an engaging way. It is important that the event has a supra-regional, national or international scope.
The amount of the contribution is determined per application. The Mondriaan Fund can contribute up to 40% of the eligible project costs directly associated with the visual art and/or heritage activities for which the application is submitted.
Background information of the new grant
Several changes will soon be made to the Art Heritage Presentation grant. One significant change is that festivals, biennales, triennales and similar events will now be able to apply for the new grant: Art Heritage Festival.
