Target group: Artists and institutions

Content: Have you never applied to te Mondriaan Fund before and are you unsure how and where to start? You may be wondering whether you are eligible for our subsidies, and if so, which ones? Of course we cannot tell you what to submit, the plan comes from you. During this theme session we will guide you through our website, so that you can find the right arrangement in no time. We also give you tips & tricks for preparing and writing your application.

By: This session is led by (one or more) project staff members from the fund. The Mondriaan Fund project staff ensure every day that all applications are sent to the committee in full and on time and that the outcome is communicated smoothly to the applicant after the meeting.

Session 2 | Applying the codes: what is required and what is not required?

Target group: Institutions that want to qualify for a subsidy from the Mondriaan Fund

Content: As a national culture fund, we adhere to various codes and regulations. Three cultural codes play an important role in this; the Diversity & Inclusion Code, the Fair Practice Code and the Culture Governance Code. The codes are important because together they contribute to a healthy, relevant, transparent and resilient cultural sector. The Mondriaan Fund endorses these codes and we also ask the institutions that apply to us to do so. It may be quite difficult to write a vision or an action plan based on the codes. In this session we explain what the fund expects.

By: This session is led by the Head of Visual Arts or Head of Heritage. They contribute to the development of policy and are the connecting link between management and project staff. In addition to the information you receive, you can also ask substantive questions about the grant here.

After the session: you know the minimum you need to do with the codes to qualify for a subsidy from the Mondriaan Fund.
