For Power up your art practice we have invited a diverse group of international art professionals – artists, curators, researchers, museum professionals and more – to share their knowledge and experiences with you. The programme consists of keynotes, talks with Q&A’s and 1 on 1 sessions.

Keynotes
During the keynotes we will dive deeper into the matter of artistic practices.
Arts & culture intermediary Rubiah Balsem will share insights from her research on the importance of art ecosystems where citizens are co-creators and artists are actors of positive change, contributing beyond social, economic and cultural capital. For our second keynote, we have invited visual artist Renzo Martens, who represents the Netherlands at the Venice Biennale 2024 (together with artist collective CATPC and Hicham Khalidi).

Talks with Q&A
Our international guests will share their knowledge and experiences with you during these talks. They will give you an insight into various forms of artistic practices, such as art in relation to education, science and (health)care. After a brief presentation, there is time for a Q&A.
