She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master’s degree in Art History from UNAM. She was assistant curator for the Mexican Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale and has published in numerous contemporary art catalogs and magazines.

She has curated more than fifty exhibitions at MUAC and other national and international museums, including: Pauline Boudry and Renate Lorenz: Everything She Said; Julieta Aranda: Clear Coordinates for Our Confusion; Maternar: Between Stockholm Syndrome and Acts of Production, co-curated with Helena Chávez Macgregor; Melanie Smith: Farce and Artifice, co-curated with Tanya Barson; and Playing Innocent, a group exhibition at the MMAG Foundation, Jordan.
