Since 2009, he has been organizing shows in collaboration with other fellow creators and art professionals in different spaces that he temporarily transforms into art venues, such as “La Construcción”, a construction site that hosted art shows until it was finished.
In 2022, he founded Segismundo, a contemporary art gallery based in Guatemala City that aims to establish a dialogue between local and international artists, curators and other art professionals. Alongside his exhibition making efforts, he’s a self-taught artist working with sculpture, photography, and video. An ardent believer in the virtues of walking, he actively promotes among his peers taking long walks in the city, which is also an important part of his art practice.
