Dr. Endy Ezeluomba is Curator of African Art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. He received a Ph.D. in art history from the University of Florida and earned the University Doctoral Dissertation Award for his dissertation, ‘Olokun Shrines: Their Functions in the Culture of the Benin Speaking People of Southern Nigeria’. He is a specialist in the visual and expressive arts of Africa and has contributed articles and book chapters to numerous publications, including Black Art Quarterly and African Arts journal.
