Kate Sierzputowski

She is the Director of Programming at EXPO CHICAGO where she organizes the exposition’s /Dialogues, Exchange Stage, Curatorial Initiatives, Directors Summit, OVERRIDE, and IN/SITU programs. Kate founded the website INSIDE\WITHIN in 2013 to physically explore and archive the creative spaces of Chicago’s emerging and established artists, which ran until 2018. She has been a co-director of the artist-run gallery space Julius Caesar since 2015 and is co-founder of the miniature international art exposition Barely Fair. She produces limited run exhibition series inside her apartment, the most recent AIRLOCK, which invites emerging Chicago curators to produce exhibitions in her apartment’s entry room.
