Paul Wolff Mitchell received a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022. From 2022-2025, he was a researcher and “exhibition experiment” curator with “Pressing Matter: Ownership, Value and the Question of Colonial Heritage in Museums.” Currently, he is a researcher with the Anatomical Museum of the Leiden University Medical Center. His research concerns the intersection of science, race, and colonialism, with particular emphasis on human ancestral remains and museum collections.
