Sebastian Koudijzer is a visual artist and theatre maker with a focus on photography. His work almost always begins in an archive. For his most recent project, De Gesuikerde Onderneming, this started in the archive of his grandparents and later extended to various public archives. This led to research in Mariënburg, Suriname. The project is currently on a theatre tour and is also on display as an exhibition at Fotomuseum Den Haag.
