Farah Wilbers is regional agent Southeast, representing the region of Limburg and eastern North Brabant.
Farah has a background in the visual arts and cultural heritage sector and has broad experience as a manager and educator within various cultural institutions. Wilbers was general director of Museum de Schat van Simpelveld for many years. Currently, Farah works as head of education at Marres, House for Contemporary Culture in Maastricht, where she focuses on the relationship between contemporary art and a diverse audience. In addition, Farah is active as a freelancer in the cultural sector, where she uses her expertise in art education and policy development to make connections between artists, institutions and governments.
With her in-depth knowledge of the region and her passion for arts and culture, Farah is an enthusiastic connector within the cultural field. She has always maintained good contact with artists and cultural organisations and understands the challenges they face in their search for funding and support.
