On July 3 at 5:00 PM (CEST) / 11:00 AM (AST), the application form for the International Art Fair grant will be changed. The current form of this scheme will then expire.
What is changing?
As of July 2023, a Fair Practice Code applies to galleries that apply to the Mondriaan Fund. Together with the Dutch Gallery Association (NGA), the Mondriaan Fund developed this code to strengthen the position of the artist in relation to the gallery. For galleries that want to receive a grant for a foreign art fair via International Art Fair, the Gallery Fair Practice Code is now a permanent condition in the application form.
Do you have an application in preparation?
For applicants who have started an application for the International Art Fair grant in our online system, the following points apply:
- Submit your application including (visual) documentation material before July 3, 5:00 PM (CEST) / 11:00 AM (AST). Completed forms that are not submitted will be deleted after 5:00 PM (CEST) / 11:00 AM (AST).
- If you are unable to submit before that date, save a PDF of the application form you are working on so that you will not lose your completed data.
- You can apply for this grant again from 3 July 5:00 PM (CEST) / 11:00 AM (AST) using the new form.
Applicants who have applied before July 3 5:00 PM (CEST) / 11:00 AM (AST) don’t have to take any action.
