Follow-up visit United Arab Emirates
In October and November 2019, a group of curators from the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and Switzerland visited the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah) and Pakistan (Karachi and Lahore). The orientation trip organised by the Mondriaan Fund consisted of visits to museums, institutions, galleries, artist-in-residences, ateliers, collectors and local key figures in the various cities. As a follow-up, a group of curators from Pakistan will visit institutions and meet art professionals in the Netherlands. The visit is organised in collaboration with the Dutch embassy in Islamabad (Pakistan).
