Since 2012, Mujde Unustasi has been serving as the Director of Arkas Art, overseeing the institutional development and the artistic programming of six art centers under the roof of Arkas Art.
Born in Istanbul, she holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in history from Bosphorus University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Art History at Ege University. In 2020, she was honored with the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres distinction by the French Ministry of Culture. Arkas Art continues to strengthen its role in Türkiye’s cultural landscape through ambitious exhibitions and multidisciplinary initiatives. This network will soon expand with the opening of the Lucien Arkas Art Center (Izmir), which will host exhibitions organized in collaboration with Centre Pompidou.
