Since joining the team in 2019, she has been deeply engaged in the organizing of various major projects, including the Chengdu International Photography Week and the Golden Panda Photography Art Award, and has led the planning and execution of large-scaled exhibitions and public programs at the museum.
The Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum (CDCIM) is a leading institution dedicated to contemporary video and photographic arts, committed to observing developments in image-based practices, promoting artistic dialogue, and fostering collaboration between China and the world. Covering 7,500 m², the museum houses six exhibition halls, an academic lecture hall, a library, and dedicated public education spaces. Since its opening in 2019, CDCIM has hosted over 70 exhibitions, 80% independently curated, successfully organized three editions of the Chengdu International Photography Festival — a major image arts festival hosted by the Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles — and three editions of the Golden Panda Photography Art Award, which plays a key role in advancing contemporary photography in China. Its exhibition program focuses on three main lines: showcasing works by leading domestic and international photographers, supporting local artists from Sichuan and Chongqing, and discovering and nurturing emerging young talent.
CDCIM collaborates with prominent institutions such as the Brazilian Embassy, the French Consulate,the Académie des beaux-arts, the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, and New York University to deliver high-quality exhibitions, advance professional research, and engage audiences, while cultivating public appreciation for contemporary image art through educational programs.
