Former art history student and social worker, Adeline Lépine worked since 2008 for various museums and art centres in France as cultural educator, programmer and engineer. She had been one of the residents of Capacete (Rio de Janeiro) in 2015 and been involved since then in various collective art projects. Between 2016 and 2022, she curated Veduta, the experimental laboratory of the Lyon International Biennale. Since 2022, she is the director of le 19, an art center in Montbéliard, a post-industrial city based in a rural context. In general in her practice, Adeline Lépine aims for creating situations that generate new experiences of dialogue, conviviality, reflection and (socio-political) actions.
